Senior Mixed Signal Test Engineer
Pulse Link is looking for an experienced Senior Mixed Signal Test Engineer who will be responsible for developing production, characterization, and wafer sort test programs for UWB IC products. This will include test plan development, designing interface hardware for the target ATE platform, writing test program to implement the test plan on the ATE, correlating measurement results, providing support for product characterization, and providing documentation on all work accomplished. In this position you will work closely with our IC design teams to ensure that new products are designed for testability and make recommendations for Automatic Test Equipment selection. This position is responsible for designing high frequency test hardware to handle 5 GHz signals.
During the development process you will execute development schedules, prepare technical reviews of the test solutions, prepare reviews of verification results of test system design, prepare reviews of test limits for each application, and prepare documents for test plans, software, and hardware. A close working relationship with Product Engineering is required in order to achieve entitlement yields, test cost objectives, and support device performance data analysis requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience with testing complex RF, mixed signal, and digital devices on large ATE platforms. Experience with one or more of the following ATE systems is required: Teradyne Catalyst, Agilent 93K. Periodic travel to contract test facilities is required.
The ideal person will have a BSEE/BSCS/BS Physics (MS preferred), as well as 5 years of RF/Analog and/or high-speed digital test engineering experience.
