Senior/Principal IC Product Engineer
Due to our growth and new product introduction demands, Pulse~Link is searching for a Product Engineer who will be responsible for new ASIC product releases, yield analysis and qualification.
The person in this position will lead the engineering effort in planning for and executing on the evaluation, characterization, and manufacturing ramp for new products, and will work closely with test and design engineers to ensure smooth shipments of highly reliable products.
Major responsibilities include:
- Develop plans for characterization and qualification
- Evaluation and debug of new silicon, both on ATE and bench
- Qualification hardware and software support
- Correlation of bench test data to ATE for valid production test
- Create documentation set for manufacturing release
- Report technical data from silicon back to design engineering
- Set NPI standards to release product to manufacturing
- Assist test engineer in planning and developing the production test solution
- Overall yield improvement and cost reduction
We are looking for someone with a BSEE or equivalent, with 5+ years experience in semiconductor product engineering, and with CMOS or BiCMOS IC's, mixed-signal, RFIC or Digital preferred.
- Experience in Analog/RF or high-speed digital base-band/MAC IC's is a plus.
- Experience with high speed digital or mixed-signal testers.
- Experience with lab equipment and bench systems.
- Computer programming with C++ or equivalent.
- Experience with IBM-based PC equipment, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Project Management experience preferred.
