Pulse~LINK Selected by the State of California and the European Technology Advisory Board to Represent Emerging Technologies at Cal-IT Forum in London

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 20, 2003 - Pulse~LINK Inc. is one of 46 top private California companies selected by the State of California and the European Technology Advisory Board (TAB) to be showcased at the eighth annual Cal-IT Forum in London taking place at the Metropole Hotel on the 27th and 28th of October 2003.

Hosted by the State of California, the aim of the event is to provide a unique insight into the current technology, trends, companies and business partnering opportunities that continue to emerge from Silicon Valley and California. Cal-IT will see some of the world's biggest names in IT, finance and venture capital debate the central issues facing the technology market. Innovative technologies and products, such as Pulse~LINK's UWB Wireless Local Area Networking, will be presented to delegates from throughout Europe. Presenting companies were selected on overall strength, technology, management team and relevance of the product or technology to the European market.

Pulse-LINK's Ultra Wideband communications is unique to all other Ultra Wideband companies by being first and only company to introduce an FCC compliant UWB wireless LAN system with up to 100 meter transmission ranges, which is comparable to Wi-Fi but with significantly higher data rates. Pulse-LINK is also the only company to introduce the transmission of UWB over wired media. The over-cable technology is designed to enable typical cable networks with the ability to offer more services such as HDTV, Video on Demand (VOD), Interactive Television, greatly increased Internet access, and more, without changes to existing network infrastructures. UWB technology was only recently made commercially viable through military declassification, FCC regulatory approval, and advancements in microchip processing.

"We are honored to be among the few companies selected to showcase the future of technology in front of leaders of Europe's tech market," states Bruce Watkins, president and COO of Pulse~LINK, who will be presenting at the event. "The growth of European IT represented in recent forecasts is significant and Cal-IT offers a unique forum for companies leading new evolutions in technology to present themselves."

Pulse-LINK's lead in the UWB field is validated by its agreements with leading US and Japanese companies to deploy this groundbreaking technology. Based in San Diego, California, Pulse~LINK is private Delaware Corporation founded in June, 2000. The Company has demonstrated 400 Megabit wireless UWB transmissions, has over 100 patents issued and pending, and is pioneering secure UWB Wireless Local Area Networking.
