CWave RDKS are low cost, small form factor, production ready reference design enabling OEM customers' quick market entry. Pulse~LINK reference design kits (RDKs) include:

miniPCI Card Reference Design (PL3301 RDK)

Pulse~LINK offers a miniPCI card reference design showing a design example of a miniPCI card design, using the PL3100 chipset. The CWave® PL3100-RDK Reference Design Kit (RDK) consists of a miniPCI card along with design files showing the design details.

Two design implementations will be available soon, showing wireless and coaxial cable interfaces.

• PL3301-RDK-W - CWave® solution with the Wireless Interface. A complete wireless solution is implemented into a miniPCI card form factor.
• PL3301-RDK-C - CWave® solution with the Coaxial Interface. A complete coaxial cable solution is implemented into a miniPCI card form factor

Ethernet over Coax Reference Design (PL3302 RDK)

CWave Ethernet-Over-Coax RDK extends gigabit Ethernet connectivity throughout the home over existing coax. This enables consumers to access movies, music, and family photos from the PC or network attached storage device in one room and display it on any HDTV in the home - including simultaneous distribution of multiple stream of high quality 1080p content. CWave Wireless Ethernet RDK is also available from single room wireless connectivity.

1394 over Coax Reference Design (PL3303 RDK)

By bridging 1394 traffic over a home's existing coax, consumers will be able to access HD content from any set-top box and DVR and display it on any HDTV in the home. Cable set-top boxes deployed today are mandated to have a 1394 port. CWave Wireless 1394 RDK are also available from single room wireless connectivity.

Wireless HDMI Reference Design (PL3304 RDK)

CWave offers the world's fastest wireless commercially available wireless solution. CWave Wireless HDMI solution allows consumers to get rid of wires for a clean installation of wall mounted flat panel displays in the room. CWave Wireless HDMI RDK enables longer range, real-time, secure wireless connectivity between HDTV displays and multiple entertainment source devices such as Blu-ray, HD DVD and video game consoles.

HDMI-Over-Coax Reference Design (PL3305 RDK)

HDMI is no longer limited to single room applications - our UWB HDMI-Over-Coax solution extends the reach of HDMI's high quality transport and content protection mechanisms over existing coax cabling. Consumers can access high-bandwidth HD content in one - from DVRs, Blu-rays, HD DVD players, gaming consoles or set-top boxes - and view it is any other room in the house.
